Objective – The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of intellectual capital on business performance and its impact on the value of firm on property sector in Indonesia. Methodology/Technique – This study was measured by VAIC™ model proxied by physical capital efficiency, human capital efficiency and structural capital (Pulic, 2000). While the business performance measured by ROE and the value of firm is determined by the price to book value ratio. Findings – The finding shows that (1) intellectual capital has the significant positive influence on business performance, (2) intellectual capital has no effect on value of the firm and (3) business performance has a significant impact on value of the the property sector listed on the Stock Exchange in Indonesia. Novelty – Intellectual capital has a strong relationship to business performance and together significantly influence business performance. Type of Paper: Empirical.
